Irish Dorsey was born in Iloilo City, Philippines and she emigrated to the United States when she was thirteen years old. At the age of eight, Irish dislocated her left elbow and was introduced to an amazing orthopedic surgeon. That's when her love for medicine, especially orthopedics, came to fruition. 

Irish is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in shoulder and knee orthopedic medicine and has been a practicing PA since 2012. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. Prior to attending physician assistant school, Irish worked as a chemist for L'Oreal and Givaudan. She then returned to academia earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Tampa, Florida. She is currently certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. 

Irish is passionate about treating her patients and strives for an impeccable patient-to-provider relationship. She is no stranger to sports injury having been a track and field athlete in high school and college. She is an avid advocate of the Bar Method exercise and has been obsessed with the workout since she was introduced to it. When she's not in the studio, she also enjoys running the occasional 5K race with her husband, hiking, biking, traveling, and cuddling with her two dogs.
